She walks on the stage and she is all along. Before she sings she tells her story. She causally tells her story and what she is going through. She is only 30 years young and she is fighting cancer but she is standing strong. With such a beautifully smile and a warm glow most people would never know.
Before she sings she says “We are more than what we are going through”. Cancer survivor is what she is going through but Jane, is her name. She is alright , “she is OK” and that is the title of her song. Before the night is over the stage name Nightbirde will have added fame to her name.
She seems to spread her wings before she sings. Her voice is clear and strong. Once you hear the words they will leave an impression that last. We all get lost sometimes but that is OK.
The Mzansi Youth Choir comes on stage dressed in white and face paint. They are from Johannesburg South Africa. Many years ago the founders of the choir were car jacked by a group of South African youth. The captives saw this as an opportunity to change the lives of the youth.
When the group started to sing the judges recalled the tune and the message and the audience reacted.
